Tip Of The Day: October 11, 2009

Consider Resolution In A Digital Camera

Although most cameras today offer more than enough megapixels for the average user's needs, it's still important to consider the resolution capabilities of the camera. In addition, if you have no desire to print poster-sized prints, then there's no reason to go crazy and pay for megapixels you'll never use. In fact, if you only want small prints (say 4- x 6-inch prints), a 3MP or 4MP camera should suffice, though 6 to 8MP will give you greater ability to crop and print 8- x 10-inch pictures.
