Tip Of The Day: October 24, 2009

Tunes To Go

Whether you want to tote just enough music for a five-mile run or your entire digital library, a lightweight flash memory or larger hard drive-based DAP (digital audio player) can do the job with storage sizes ranging from 1GB to 160GB. Most DAPs also play back video, including home and Hollywood movies, while others integrate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wirelessly streaming tunes from a home network, downloading tracks from an online music service, or syncing with wireless headphones. Further, with more download music services now selling tracks free of DRM (digital rights management) as MP3 files, DAPs are compatible with more services than ever.
