Video Recording Tips

Consider the environment where you will be recording your video. The light should be on each subject's face, making them clearly visible in the video, so avoid locations and situations where there could be potential for backlight problems. When the light is at someone's back (for example, if they are standing in front of a window), it creates shadows over their face and makes them appear dark in the recording. Also, when the subject of your video is standing in direct sunlight, it can create shadows on their face under the eyes and nose. It's often better to find a shady area or move to an indoor location where you can better control the lighting.
