Tip Of The Day: October 30, 2009

Capture The Best Audio When Shooting Video

Consider audio before you begin filming. Even though portable video recording devices have a built-in microphone, consider using a good external microphone if your device supports it. This will ensure that the audio on your video is clear and free of background noise. Remember that in addition to picking up your voice and the voice of your subject, the built-in microphone will indiscriminately pick up other nearby voices and noise.
