Q. Please ignore my "Options."
Here's the scenario which I may have brought up a couple months ago...can't recall.
A Vista computer with one User Profile being used by the owner. The profile becomes corrupted causing various problems.
Creating a new user profile provides something of a "clean start" with none of the original user profile problems...and all programs and files are still available.
Is there a reasonably simple way to set things up so that the new user profile has access to the old profile's music downloads, pics and other stuff?
Simply deleting or removing the old profile will also remove files, right?
There's an option to save files when removing a profile. What happens to the files?
I've read of moving folders from old user profile to new one. That seems like a lot of work for somebody.

A.Thanks Berton but I think I have steered us wrong. What I was meant to be addressing was User "Accounts", not user profiles.
I found this...among other things.
http://vistasupport.mvps.org/delete_a_user_account.htm
This states that...
"Keeping the files enables windows to automatically save the contents of the desktop, documents, favourties, music, pictures and video folders that relate to this account."
Right. Now what if you want all that stuff integrated into the new account which is taking the place of the old corrupt account?
I believe that during the time I tried to devise a way of getting out of transferring all that stuff to the new account, I could have transferred all that stuff to the new account.
