Sandhills Publishing reserves the right to edit or delete any post on it's
Q&A Board or Chat Rooms, with or without notification, which we deem
inappropriate or unacceptable. Site users who persist in posting inappropriate
questions or replies risk the permanent revocation of their posting privileges.
Here are some examples of inappropriate content:
1. Use of profanity or other objectionable language. Also, launching
personal attacks, defaming another individual, using slurs, or "flaming" are
inappropriate. In addition, posting questions or replies which are intended or
likely to provoke controversy or encourage confrontations is unacceptable.
Off-topic posts may be deleted, edited, or left intact, at Sandhills Publishing’s
discretion.
2. Advertising or promoting other publications, Web sites, goods, or services.
Subscribers may not advertise their own goods or services, or those of their
employers, friends, or associates — whether those services are free or paid,
and whether the advertising message is clear and obvious or is subtle and
implied. This rule applies whether or not the advertising message would also be
relevant to the particular post or subject in question. Sandhills Publishing reserves
the right to make the final decision on what is, or is not, an advertising
message.
3. In general, posting content which is not in keeping with the helpful,
positive, and welcoming atmosphere we seek to maintain in the interactive areas of our Web sites. Sandhills
Publishing reserves the sole right at all times to make determinations
on what is, or is not, disruptive of that atmosphere. We also may change the
content of this document without notification; users are urged to reread this
document periodically to be certain they're up to date on any changes.
Also, please take note of the following:
For your own safety and privacy when posting questions or replies, never
include personal information such as email address, phone number, mailing or
physical address, city, state, ZIP code, Social Security or credit card
numbers, driver's license number, passwords, and so forth. Also, it is strictly
prohibited for any user to attempt to use the Q&A Board, Chat Rooms, or Forums as a point of contact to
collect information about our subscribers.
You are responsible and liable for anything you say and post, and also for
any actions you take based on advice or information you receive here. Sandhills
Publishing does not review or consider the technical content of any
message. You are also solely responsible for protecting your computer against
any interference or viruses that may be encountered on Sandhills Publishing Web sites.
Finally, if you have questions or comments regarding these guidelines, we ask
that you communicate them to us through any of the means listed below. We will
do our best to respond quickly and completely.
