The set includes a subwoofer, which is small, but not flattened out like the satellites. Most subwoofers should go under the desk, but that would be impractical with this one. The small controls are on the subwoofer, and reaching under the desk to find them would be a pain, especially considering this subwoofer's small size. This system is not the best we've heard, and the small subwoofer's lack of bass is largely to blame. The satellites did sound good, though. This setup's clear, full sound will beat just about any two-piece speaker set you can find. Most speakers are easy to set up, but the Benwin BW2000 speakers are practically effortless. Setup consists only of plugging in the power adapter, plugging the speakers into the subwoofer, and plugging the subwoofer into the sound card. The satellite speakers produce three watts each, and the subwoofer spits out six watts. The dimensions for the satellites are 130 by 22 by 75mm (W by D by H), and the subwoofer measures 120 by 126 by 170mm. The satellites have a respectable system frequency response of 300 hertz (Hz) to 20 kilohertz (KHz), and the subwoofer provides a slightly sub-par response of 70Hz to 300Hz. This system retails for $129.99, which isn't bad considering the space you'll save and the great looks of the design.
