Have you avoided creating a network because it seems complex? If so, Network Magic Pro might be the program for you. It’s an intuitive program that handles all network connection setup and monitoring for you. It also monitors the security and health of your PCs, tracks Internet usage, and can troubleshoot networking and Internet connection problems. It also includes access to a Net2Go page, a remote access file-sharing Web site.

Installing Network Magic is easy. Just download the installation file and install it on each PC you want to monitor. If Network Magic detects a firewall, it leads you to a Web site with assistance. If you have a wireless network, the program configures your wireless settings for optimal security and privacy.

Network Magic auto-configures printer sharing and sets up file sharing (if you opt to do so). The program even offers to send you a daily email report about your network usage and alert you to updates and security threats.

Network Magic auto-configures new devices you add to the network and walks you through the process of adding those it doesn’t recognize. An interesting, if sales-oriented, feature is the Network Magic Advisor, which provides information on a variety of tasks and recommends products. In particular, it suggests wireless routers if you haven’t already purchased one. If you aren’t particularly tech-savvy, the free, seven-day trial will likely leave you hungry for more. (Mac users should check out the Mac add-on feature.)

One-Line Summary:   Network Magic - Net2Go
Review:   I am disappointed to know that Network Magic has been sold to Cisco and that they have declared the Net2Go feature at 'end of life.' Unless something great happens I won't be upgrading my Network Magic to v5.0. I was very pleased with Network Magic therefore my high rating.
