How To Get Rid Of Click2FindNow

Description

Click2FindNow is a browser hijacker that resets the start page in Internet Explorer. It also installs a browser toolbar, adds links to the Favorites menu, and delivers pop-up ads to your PC. Aztec Marketing SA, the company that developed Click2FindNow and ILookUp, no longer has a Web presence. In addition, most online sites affiliated with Click2FindNow have been abandoned or turned over to other interests.

Click2FindNow installed itself on your system when you visited any Web site affiliated with Aztec Marketing SA.

How To Tell If Click2FindNow Is On Your PC

You'll notice the appearance of its proprietary search toolbar inside IE.

How To Get Rid Of Click2FindNow With Spybot Search & Destroy

Use an all-purpose antispyware utility such as Spybot Search & Destroy to detect and remove Click2FindNow. After installing the utility, click its Check For Problems button and wait while Spybot S&D scans your system for malware. After the scan is complete, click the Fix Selected Problems button. Click Yes when asked to verify that you want to remove the selected files, including the installed components of Click2FindNow. Spybot S&D may not be able to remove all of the selected files until you restart. If prompted, restart your PC and let Spybot S&D complete its cleaning process.

How To Get Rid Of Click2FindNow Manually

Aztec Marketing SA had released an uninstaller for Click2FindNow, but the utility is no longer available online. The best option for removing Click2FindNow is using an antispyware utility that can detect and eliminate it. Manual removal isn't feasible.
