Smart Computing® Dictionary

estimated street price (ESP)
The price a consumer is most likely to pay for a hardware or software product from a third-party vendor. The ESP for a product is calculated by gathering numerous street prices from different vendors and using either the median or average price as the ESP. If the average price is used, the product's ESP is identical to its ASP (average street price); if the median price is used, the product's ESP might differ from its ASP. See street price. See manufacturer's suggested retail price.
