How To Fix This ErrorWe Invite You To Browse SmartComputing.com!

Error Message:
[The power LED is lit solid orange.]
Translation:
According to Canon, the power LED of a Canon printer may glow orange instead of green if the printer needs to be reset or if the printer requires repair.
Solution:
Canon suggests that you first turn the printer off and then unplug the printer’s power cable from the wall outlet, power strip, or surge protector. Wait a moment and then plug the printer in again and turn the printer on. Many times, this will resolve the error, and the power LED will again glow green.

If, however, the power LED still glows orange, there may be a printer error that requires repair. Contact Canon’s technical support for further information.
