Solution: Microsoft’s Knowledge Base recommends allowing the console to cool down. This could take several hours. To prevent overheating, try to limit your gaming sessions to a couple of hours at a time, with occasional breaks between each session. Also make sure your console is in an open, well-ventilated area, away from other heat-producing equipment, such as heaters, vents, heat registers, stoves, and amplifiers. Make sure the console’s ventilation holes are free of obstructions and getting plenty of air. Never operate your Xbox console on thick carpet, a bed, sofa, or other soft surface. Make sure the fan is working. If you have satisfied the above conditions, but still encounter the error, call customer service to see if a technical support agent can help you find a solution. If the error persists, then the agent will likely give you instructions for getting your console service from a trained professional. If you’re located in the U.
