How To Fix This ErrorWe Invite You To Browse SmartComputing.com!

Error Message:
"Data Not Found" followed by "fnUneostor2 open failed."
Translation:
When the reader boots his computer, it displays an error message. Clearing it lets the reader get into Windows, but another error message referring to a program called fnUneostor greets him. Clicking OK clears the error message, and Windows runs normally, but the messages reappear each time Windows boots.
Solution:
It's annoying enough to get one error message each time Windows reboots, let alone two. Fortunately, the fix is relatively simple. Both error messages are associated with a program called Uidler.exe, which installs with a few shareware programs and puts itself on the Startup list to be launched each time Windows boots. Regardless of the version of Windows you're running, click Start, then Run, and type msconfig in the Open field before clicking OK. Choose the Startup tab in the System Configuration Utility, look for the Uidler.exe entry, and remove the check from the checkbox next to it to disable it. Click Apply and then OK. When you reboot your computer, the problem should be solved.
